"I've got my son back
through Narconon Drug Rehab!"
Effective Solutions To Drug Addiction & Alcoholism Since 1966
Narconon The
World’s Most Successful Drug Rehab.
Narconon Aftercare
The final portion of the programme is individually tailored to
the student, handling his or her personal needs. We work with social
services and can provide help with applying for benefits and
obtaining housing. We are currently working with local colleges and
businesses so that students can easily make the transition to either
further study or work. We also work with solicitors to guide
students through any outside issues they may have such as rent
arrears, court fines etc. We work closely with the following
organisations:-
Advisors from Nextstep give careers advice sessions at the Narconon
residential facility in St. Leonards-On-Sea. Nextstep is a national
company that promotes learning and work and is aimed towards people
who have suffered substance abuse. Nextstep provides advice and
support to people wanting to improve their career prospects and gain
extra qualifications.
Advisors from Jobcentre Plus will help students deal with issues
relating to benefits and housing. Jobcentre Plus was set up in April
2000 to replace the Employment Service and to provide a more
structured organisation focused on getting people back into
employment through various schemes and with financial help such as
benefits, grants and loans.
Advisors from Working Links will help students get back into
employment either paid or voluntary. Working Links was set up in
2000 to provide help to some of Britain's most disadvantaged
communities. Now firmly established in local communities all over
the UK, Working Links has prospered into one of the most successful
organisations in helping people get back to work on a long time
basis.
If students do not feel ready to leave once they have completed the
programme they can stay on to help with the running of the centre.
If fact some students elect to remain and train for staff positions
working for Narconon. They know what a big job we have ahead of us
and just how many people are out there who still need our help.
Once a student has left then we contact them regularly to see how
they are progressing and to see if they require any further help.
They are invited to other students’ graduation ceremonies and any
other events that are taking place.
Our objective is to produce
graduates who will remain drug free for
life, however if a graduate has relapsed then he/she will usually be
encouraged to re-do whichever parts of the programme are considered
necessary. It is normally found that if a graduate has relapsed then
it is because some part of the life skills courses has not been put
into practice or has been misunderstood. In this case graduates
usually assist in some way with the running of the centre in return
for the additional time spent on the programme. |
