"I feel more positive about life"
Helen, one of our students, writes about the detoxification (sauna) part of the programme:-
"To be honest, I had my doubts about the sauna programme. I had heard varying stories about it, but I decided to try to keep an open mind and see what happened. For the first day or so what happened was not a lot. Then I got the niacin burn. I felt like I'd been dunked in a bath of acid, it was quite freaky. Of course, the response to my 'agggh I'm dying' was to have a shower and get back in the sauna.
After that I got all kinds of reactions, physical, mental and emotional. For a long time I didn't feel like I was getting anywhere. Every day the same routine, no day off, every day is sauna day. Then one evening I was watching television for a while and suddenly realised I didn't have my glasses on, but I was seeing it quite clearly. I went out and sat in the garden and looked around. Trees that had been green blurry things had distinct leaves on them. 'Well bloody hell' I said to myself. That was the most noticeable thing I got from the sauna but in the time I was in there my sleep has returned to normal and I wake up feeling good. I can even speak to people before I have coffee and a fag without wanting to kill them! I have more energy and I feel more positive about life in general.
I have to say that now I believe the sauna programme to be highly
It's all about results!
