Narconon Newsletter 11-10-2007Welcome to the Narconon Newsletter. The lifestyle of a drug addict is filled with negative associations and influences. These perpetuate the addict's use of drugs and alcohol. Book 5 of the Life Skills part of the course, "The Ups and Downs in Life" course, helps the student evaluate the characteristics of constructive and destructive personality types, so that they can select their friends and associates more carefully to establish a more stable, secure personal environment. Here is what two of our current students wrote about the course:- "I think Book 5 is absolutely amazing! I had a lot
of realisations when I finished this book. Right now I can see which
kind of people I have around me, who are my real friends and who are
not. I have learnt about bad people and good people and the potential
trouble bad personalities can cause me. I also made the realisation that
over the last year I've been under the influence of a bad person, my
boyfriend. I understand why I felt unwell all the time that I was in
contact with him. I now know what sort of people I need to be around and
those I don't and how to disconnect from the people I don't need to be
around." "Book 5 was a very good book and really helped me
to understand the different personalities and gives me the chance to
handle situations that were holding me back and it will also help me in
the future." To speak to one of our counsellors please phone 0800 169 4803. Best Regards,
