Welcome to the Narconon Newsletter.
The lifestyle of a drug addict is filled with negative associations and influences. These perpetuate the addict's use of drugs and alcohol. Book 5 of the Life Skills part of the course, "The Ups and Downs in Life" course, helps the student evaluate the characteristics of constructive and destructive personality types, so that they can select their friends and associates more carefully to establish a more stable, secure personal environment. Here is what one of our current students wrote about the course:-
"Book 5 was definitely an eye opener on a wide variety of
life issues and answered all remaining questions that I had from
the objectives, about certain people in my life. I now know who
and what was suppressing me and now know how to deal with it. To
a certain extent I was handling it, but I now realise that my
handling was not the best way. So to me Book 5 is a must and I
would recommend it to everyone."
