Narconon Newsletter 29-11-2007

Welcome to the Narconon Newsletter.

Today I'd like to share a success story from one of our current students.

E.C., who is a mother of two, came to Narconon as she had problems with both alcohol and cannabis. Her family all rallied round to raise the money for private rehab.

E.C. is currently doing Book 4, otherwise known as the objectives. The exercises are named objectives because they help extrovert the student from past upsets and other chaos associated with past drug and alcohol abuse and get the person's attention onto objects in their present environment. The exercises are done with another student, who is referred to as a twin. Here is what E.C. had to say:-

"I've learnt so much from running objectives.

I had some strong cognitions myself and feel fantastic inside. I realised that if I hadn't come to Narconon to sort my life out and made that start to deal with my problems emotionally and mentally, then they would have continued to gradually grow and increase in size over time and carried on weighing me down in life.

Aspects of my life with drinking and drugs would never have changed and the misery and turmoil I was going through would have continued to grow.

At that time I could not see an end to these problems in my life. I know I need to trust in my feelings and emotions now that my mind is clear otherwise it will continue to take me back to the same point in my life.

A weight has most definitely been lifted in me spiritually and I feel this change in myself and can grow and see the end of that misery and a whole new beginning. I also now have the ability to stop these problems affecting me in the future.

I could have carried these problems around like emotional baggage for the rest of my life if I had not addressed it here.

I feel very grateful to be here."
E.C.
