Today I'd like to talk about Book 5 of our Life Skills courses.
The lifestyle of a drug addict is filled with negative associations and influences. These perpetuate the addict's use of drugs and alcohol. Book 5 of the Life Skills part of the course, "The Ups and Downs in Life" course, helps the student evaluate the characteristics of constructive and destructive personality types, so that they can select their friends and associates more carefully to establish a more stable, secure personal environment. Here is what our current students had to say upon completion of the course.
"I am very pleased with myself as I have just passed
my Book 5 exam with a mark of 97%. It is the first time,
at 66 years of age, that I've ever passed any exams and
it just shows that with the right help you can become a
successful person in life. I also thought that I already
knew the types of people there are out there, I was very
wrong, as I have learnt a great deal about people with
the help of Matt and Helen"
