Narconon UK Newsletter 11-02-2008

Welcome to the Narconon UK newsletter.

Today I'd like to share with you what three of our students have written about their progress since coming to Narconon.

"Before I came to Narconon, I couldn't do a day without drugs (crack, skunk and heroin) or alcohol and it was constantly on my mind. Now I have been at Narconon for a month I do not feel I need drugs or alcohol and it does not play on my mind. I feel happier and more alert also I do not have as many accidents due to clumsiness, which is great."
R.F.

"I came to Narconon 3 months ago, a broken mess, living one day at a time, struggling to survive. After a lot of care and attention I've started to get on in the programme. Yeah it's difficult at times, but the bad times become fewer by the day. I am now learning things about myself, my life and the life that I will be able to lead once I complete the rest of the programme. Each part I complete gives me new skills on how to deal with any problems that come up in the future and with my life in general and most importantly, how to live a happy drug free life. I now know that I can be who I want to be and do whatever I want to do in life. I have also made some great friends during my time here at Narconon, who will remain my friends for the rest of my drug free life. For anyone out there who needs or knows someone who needs the sort of help I am having at the moment then all I can say is get up and go for it and you will be or get them back to themselves in no time and you and your whole family will get the addiction free life you deserve. I hope that someone out there reading this will get the desire to change thei life, just like I have."
J.D.

"When I arrived at Narconon I was so near to death it was frightening. I had lost any hope of getting back on track, I had totally given up. I have tried so many times, lots of detoxes and other rehabs nothing had worked. My family including my children had, had enough of me. I was a walking nightmare, waking up in ambulances, police stations and worse! I have been at Narconon for 4 months today and I have everything I could ask for my health, the love and respect of my family and A FUTURE. I am so thankful for being given this chance. I have been made to feel so at home, the staff are great and they never judge you. I feel they are my friends. I haven't finished yet, but I am so strong and my head is so clear. I am now in control of my life. The future looks great."
