Narconon UK Newsletter 01-08-2008

Welcome to the Narconon UK newsletter.

In our newsletter this week, we feature a wonderful success story from a student who has just completed Book Four of the Narconon Programme - the Communication and Perception Course.

On the Communication and Perception Course, a student does the "Objective Exercises," referred to in the success story, which you will find below.

The Objectives were developed by L Ron Hubbard to help a person extrovert his attention by calling on him to spot or find something exterior from himself, in order to carry out the exercise.

While this exercise is for anyone seeking personal improvement, they were found particularly helpful in the context of the Narconon programme. This component of the programme takes a person step-by-step to new heights of ability in handling and enjoying life.

By getting the person to locate his attention outwards from himself he can locate his present time environment, establish direct communication and bring himself into present time. This unsticks him from the fears and unwanted feelings and emotions associated with upsets of the past.

Bringing a person into present time is a key factor in mental sanity and ability. While Objectives are basically simple, the life-changing gains from doing them, can be tremendous.

Objectives are done after the Sauna programme has flushed out residual drugs and other toxins from the body. They are a key step for the student in creating a new life for himself. The student also learns to do them to help another student achieve similar gains.

This restored ability in a person is in itself, a vital factor in the restoration of the student's confidence and self-respect.

Here then is a personal success story from a student who recently completed Objectives AND helped a fellow student through them too!

"I realised that my actions of using drugs in order to escape my issues not only caused damage to my physical health but worse, destroyed the way I perceived myself in this universe.

It is as though I had been going around the same roundabout for some time, unable to know or see any difference as I was trapped and restricted by myself and my past.

Objectives gave me a clear way out and have allowed me to observe my actions from an outside perspective, a perspective based on what's happening now.

I am detached from my past yet I can make logic of it without reliving the experiences. I can make a sensor of my past and in turn, have gained an understanding of where I went wrong. I have become aware and have learned from my mistakes. This has made me a stronger person.

There is a divide between myself and my past and that divide is a foundation on which I can build a new life, free from past.

I feel absolutely connected with my true self, the person that exists now. I have potential and the world offers the opportunity.

I can proudly say that I am a true observer of this universe as I view without conflict, hesitation and without interruption of past experiences or emotion.

One of the greatest successes of my objectives was in fact my twin Jordan. (Two people work together to get each other through the programme. They are called twins.) Thank you Jordan for your ongoing support, commitment and lastly your professionalism. That is what made this work and that is why I am so happily writing this success story. Progress, progress, progress!!"
