Welcome to the Narconon Newsletter.
Today I'd like to talk about Book 5 of our Life Skills courses, the Ups and Downs in Life Course. The lifestyle of a drug addict is filled with negative associations and influences. These perpetuate the addict's use of drugs and alcohol. This course helps the student evaluate the characteristics of constructive and destructive personality types, so that they can select their friends and associates more carefully to establish a more stable, secure personal environment. This is what one of our student's who has recently completed the course had to say about it:-
"This is a course I would recommend to anyone. It helped me to understand the real source of or cause of why people make mistakes and fail in life and why I turned to drugs in the first place.
It is not because of some modern chemical imbalance theory. The true and real reason for it was revealed to me.
I feel a lot more stable after doing Book 5.
It has made me look deep inside myself and with my own judgement and volition CHANGE those aspects about myself to be a better person.
It has given me the tools with which I can judge those I'm associated with and choose those people who would be helping me and not harming me."
