Welcome to the Narconon Newsletter.

Today I'd like to share with you a success story from one of our current students.

"Within one week of being at Narconon I realised coming here was the best decision I had ever made. I thought to myself, “You genius!”, yes I’m really modest! Before coming in, it literally was life or death, seriously. I felt so welcome and immediately felt like I ‘belonged’; I knew I was in the right place.

Since then my thoughts about being at Narconon have been compounded as I have become healthier, fitter and actually able to focus on my life. Everyday I face new challenges, I have new experiences and I have gained a lot of very good   friends. Everyday I wake up looking forward to the day. It doesn’t take me an hour to face getting out of bed and it doesn’t take me a bottle of vodka to get out of the house and that’s how it was for the last fifteen years of my life. Now I’m free from all of that and looking forward to ‘living’ the rest of my life.

At the moment I am really enjoying finding out more about ‘me’ and can’t wait, with the help of this program, to find out even more. I am through the sauna detoxification and right now I’m on the most amazing part of the programme, doing the life skills courses, which is enabling me to view life in a more positive way. And there is a lot more to come yet!  

But so far the defining moment for me was when my brother came to visit me here for the first time.  As I walked into the office to meet him he was in conversation and looked towards me, then turned away again. It took 2 or 3 seconds before it registered that it was actually his kid brother he was looking at. I will never forget the look on his face, it was priceless. It was a complete double take. And then he said, “ I was going to ask how you are but then I realised I don’t need to. You look great!”  Later on I found out that as soon as he left, he called our mother and just said, “ He’s  back!”"
