Overcoming ups and downs in life courseEveryone experiences good days and bad days, and life does not always go according to plan. The people we meet and associate with can sometimes have a great influence on us. To avoid situations that might lead to drug or alcohol use in the future, clients must be able to recognise true friends and the positive people in their lives and, to isolate those likely to have a negative influence that may lead them back into trouble.

This module teaches students how bad decisions regarding friends and acquaintances damaged their lives in the past, and how to make more positive choices regarding who one should or should not associate with in the future.

Personal values course On the Personal Values Course, clients are made aware of how personal values are lost and more importantly how to restore them once again. They come to recognise their actual obligations. They learn a valuable procedure that enables them to take full responsibility for their past misdeeds and transgressions and thereby gain relief from the associated trauma and guilt connected with them. By the end of this course, students can at last leave the past behind them and move forward into a positive future.

Changing conditions in life courseBecause drug and alcohol abuse often stems from an inability to deal with life's challenging situations, it is important that former addicts become familiar with the skills required for constructive problem-solving. These skills can help them live a life free from drugs and alcohol. This module teaches former addicts precise step by step procedures that can be applied to correct any situation in the past, so it is no longer a problem in the present. Learning these skills will help to move their lives forward to a happy future.

The aim of the Narconon Program is long-term success for each individual who takes part in it. Once a person has gone through the withdrawal, the New Life Detox, and the Objective exercises module, most clients report feeling remarkably better, both physically and mentally, and have usually gained a resurgence of enthusiasm for life and are ready for the final program modules.

Effective practice and education leads to greater stability, more self-respect, an increase in confidence and a rise of personal values.

Just like any skills, life skills can be learned.

The final modules of the program comprise of a series of important Life Skills Courses. These modules give the individual the vital tools they needs to stay drug or alcohol free long into the future.

The following modules are done with a certified trained supervisor.
